"We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate." - Thomas Jefferson

The Colorado Optometric Association has a long history of legislative success, primarily due to the hard work and diligence of the many COA members who volunteer their time and money to legislative efforts. Without member contributions, optometrists in Colorado would not enjoy the wide scope of practice that our Optometric Practice Act provides. Just by being a COA member, you are showing our legislators that our Association is strong and unified in promoting the best interests of our patients and our profession.
