The Optometrist – Manager of Optometry Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the Optometry Clinic.

This position examines, diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the visional system, the eye and associated structures, as well as diagnose related systemic conditions. This position serves students directly by appointment and also makes referral appointments at the request of the in-house medical services staff.

The Optometrist – Manager of Optometry Services reports directly to the Director of Medical Specialty Services.

Unique leasehold opportunity at Target in Highlands Ranch

After 45 years, I want to retire.  I need someone who will take over and take good care of my family of patients.  I have an extensive database of thousands of active patients from the last 5 years at Target and the previous 25 years at Park Meadows LensCrafters.  The Optos Daytona holds all their OptoMaps, as well.  A small monthly payment gets both and I’ll throw in the FDT for free.  Busy Target location, no employees, affluent, Douglas County demo, experienced staff.   Many of you know I spent my career at LensCrafters and Target is much better.  Low overhead, low stress, lucrative.  Currently soft contacts only, no rigid or specialty.  My fees are too low and could be raised immediately, making this a more lucrative situation.  If only EyeMed and VSP reimbursement wasn’t so insulting.  Currently covering 5 days per week.  M-F 10 AM – 6 PM.  Booking every ½ hr.  I do my own pre-testing.  Fill-in coverage is always a problem, and I would be willing to consider filling in if the EMR software doesn’t change.  Currently using ExamWriter/OfficeMate.  Transition date of July preferrable but I’m flexible.
